Email, Network Drive and CUIMC Applications Brief Downtime Sat. February 13th Between 9pm and Midnight

Planned upgrades to networking equipment at CUIMC will cause a short, 10 minute downtime in many technical services.  The downtime will occur at some point between 9:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m (midnight) this Saturday, Feburary 13th.  IMPORTANT:

  • Please make sure you are not working directly from your network drive(s) during this time, as any interruption in connection to the drive can permanently corrupt the file(s) you have open.
  • To be sure you do not have any files open, please close any Office programs including Outlook before the scheduled maintenance begins

This upgrade will affect the following systems:

  • Load Balancers and all applications behind them
  • Email
  • O and P network drives
  • VMWare Servers and Backups (Certified IT Groups were notified in advance of the affected Servers/Backups)
