Restored - Intermittent Problems Accessing Email in Exchange Online

UPDATE: Microsoft has posted that service availability has been restored.


Wednesday afternoon, Microsoft announced they were investigating an issue with Exchange online email accounts, the system used for CUIMC email.  Due to this, users may have intermittent problems accessing email. 

Microsft updated with the following:

The problem occurs from all Exchange Online connection methods. Affected users may also be unable to search for SharePoint Online content.

Current status: They've identified that a recently deployed configuration change to a specific portion of Microsft infrastructure may be causing the issue for users. They are working to roll back the configuration change to confirm findings and potentially remediate impact.
