ColumbiaDoctors Information Services (CDIS) supports the clinical work of the faculty practice organization (FPO) by managing a portfolio of applications, business analytics, dashboards, reports, conducting system maintenance, and providing end-user training.
Based at Parker Plaza in Fort Lee, New Jersey, our team’s primary application is GE Centricity Business (IDX) and its integrated third-party systems, which include the Experian Claim Scrubber, Televox, and the Intellicred credentialing system. Collectively, these tools enable accurate patient registration, appointment scheduling, claims processing, and patient billing. CDIS also supports the analytics platform which includes IBM’s Cognos product, Tableau and native SQL. We provide management dashboards and reports to measure patient access, billing performance and revenue collection.
Our data team also provides more than 900 ad-hoc reports annually to clinical departments and FPO administration for important pinpoint analysis. In addition to system maintenance and application support, CDIS provides end-user training on IDX and Cognos.
