Medical Grade Network Project Towers Completed, Wireless Access Point Survey

The ongoing Medical Grade Network (MGN) project has completed swapping out access points (APs) for Towers 1, 2, and 3.

To continue improvements to Wi-Fi service, access points will be upgraded in various sites across the medical center. A technician will perform work on the interior of each building to assess Wi-Fi signal strength. You will not need to be present during the site surveys. This is just a site survey and actual replacement of Access Points will take place during another scheduled date.

The survey team will be onsite for nineteen business days beginning September 12th to complete site surveys for the replacement of access points mounted on each floor.

The schedule is as follows:

  1. Mailman School - 5 days
  2. Hammer Science - 5 days
  3. Black Building - 5 days
  4. Lasker  - 5 days
  5. Bard Apartments - 5 days
  6. Parker Plaza - 5 days
  7. Physicians & Surgeons - 5 days
