What We Do

The Project Management Office (PMO) is here to advocate for and facilitate the use of healthcare technology to support the clinical, academic, and research mission of Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Our purpose is to provide structure, governance, and consistency.

The CUIMC IT PMO provides oversight throughout the project life cycle. This includes using documentation for each project stage, such as a project charter, weekly executive dashboard, status reports, and project meeting minutes with follow-up action items. PMO will help reduce disruption, coordinate resources, and provide project management so your IT goals are reached and projects are completed on time.

The CUIMC IT PMO coordinates projects between the NYP IT PMO as well and aims to provide transparency to projects maneuvering through the tripartite structure.
